A grey, damp day across Connemara with dense overcast developing through the morning and light rain spreading from west to east during the afternoon. Temperatures will struggle, reaching only 11-13?C in most areas. The day starts misty with patchy light fog in valleys and along the coast, gradually lifting through mid-morning. Southeast winds will strengthen through the day, becoming fresh to strong by afternoon with gusts reaching 35-42 kph, particularly in exposed coastal areas. Drizzle will develop from late morning, turning to light rain by mid-afternoon, most persistent across western districts.

After dark, rain will become more widespread and heavier, especially after midnight. Cloud will thicken further with patchy light fog redeveloping in rain.
