A grey, damp day across Connemara with dense overcast developing through the morning and light rain spreading from west to east during the afternoon. Temperatures will struggle, reaching only 11-13?C in most areas. The day starts misty with patchy light fog in valleys and along the coast, gradually lifting through mid-morning. Southeast winds will strengthen through the day, becoming fresh to strong by afternoon with gusts reaching 35-42 kph, particularly in exposed coastal areas. Drizzle will develop from late morning, turning to light rain by mid-afternoon, most persistent across western districts.
After dark, rain will become more widespread and heavier, especially after midnight. Cloud will thicken further with patchy light fog redeveloping in rain. Temperatures will hold steady around 9-11?C overnight with southeast winds remaining brisk, though gradually easing toward dawn. The wettest conditions are expected across western coastal areas from Renvyle to Cleggan, where rainfall totals may reach 5-6mm.
