I felt a little stupid for being on cnn.com reading articles in the first place, but then I read an article that was so stupid that it made me feel better:

According to "experts" the honeycreeper is near extinction due to avian malaria, which supposedly is caused by native mosquitoes. And according to these same "experts," the mosquitoes are moving to higher elevations due to "climate change" and that's why they're reaching the honeycreeper birds.

So these "experts" are implementing a "solution:" by importing millions of foreign mosquitoes in the region, because supposedly when they mate with the
native mosquitoes they're unable to reproduce.

I'm not a bird or mosquito expert, but I'm an expert at "I don't want any more damn mosquitoes imported into my neighborhood."

2) Person who doesn't actually exist but gets referred to in news stories "Experts suggest that the best way to avoid malaria is to make more malaria."

Next was "climate change" as an excuse for anything.

It's ok to save species of animals as long as it don't cost anything, but we need all the money we've got to save human lives.

Same here. I love the summer, but thank God for climate change because I also enjoy the winter. But here's why climate change is a very serious and dangerous thing: it causes slippery roads in the winter.

No one at CNN ever sounds like an expert - except to the bots who can't think for themselves.

They have nice clothes. I should start wearing nicer clothes and then maybe idiots will listen to me more often.

Good point! Now next time someone wants money for climate change, I'll be right behind them with my hand out too, because it definitely affects us northern state people disproportionately and "systemically."

Here in Michigan, our Whit-less Tyrant has demanded "green" energy from the local power company. She still hasn't explained why cutting down 1 million acres of virgin forest to put in a solar farm in a state that
gets little sunlight, is "green". But I digress.

The net result is higher energy bills for everyone, even though the cost of energy is dropping everywhere else.

We'll see how this winter goes. For the past 4 years I was getting slammed with $300+ electric bills. The NY tyrant says that "we need to build a new nuclear power plant" so though my BS filtration system that sounds like "my desire to build a new nuclear power plant is what I'll use to explain your past extremely high electric bills and any forthcoming extremely high electric bills."
