I've noticed this with netmails as well. I've had some automated
netmails sent to "Regional Coordinator" or "Network Coordinator" that I hadn't yet set to forward to me, so they just sat there unread, I could see from the numbering of messages that something was there, but Mystic wouldn't let me read them. I had to open one of the jam base files in a text editor to see what they were/who they were addressed to.
Yes, a parallel message reader might come in handy... Unless g00r00 has some tip or adds a "Sysop Pvt Override" setting or modifies the meaning of the Sysop ACS. =)
If you're using mutil as your mail tosser, you might wish to add those
"odd" aliases that you have discovered to forward = ... lines in the ImportEchoMail stanza of mutil.ini, though. But you never know when someone comes up with a new alias to netmail to... :-O
