A few years ago I was having problems connections and Comcast sent out a repairman with 36 hours one, arriving on a Sunday. He checked everything, pronounced the modem dead, replaced it with the router and back in business. No charge.
I have the PC hardwired but everything else runs off the router.
Once years ago I was having cable problems and would call tech support
around 0500 or 0600 and always got in on the second or third ring. :)
It's a challenge if you live on one coast, and the customer service
line is on the other.
I think they are in India so doesn't make much difference. :)
