Quoting Joe Mackey to Alan Ianson on 10-10-19 06:52 <=-
I have the same problem. Lately I've taken to writing notes on my phone. It's handy when I don't have a pen and paper.
Unless I'm working, I seldom have my phone with me.
I'm rather old-fashioned that way.
I have never understood people who have to have it in their hand at
all times.
When I'm away from home, I have my phone with me, and on... but it's
generally in my pocket... and mostly for emergency or necessity, not for nattering on all the time...
I see people driving and talking on the phone (which is illegal in
WV) and even trying to park while still holding it to their ear. I
always think "put it down, park, then talk".
It's illegal here in NYS as well... at least hand-held... It's legal to
have it coming through the speakers, with a bluetooth device... But I've
never set that sort of thing up, and am not likely to... even that can
be distracting from driving safely....
Also good for checking the weather!
I do use mine at times to check the weather, the mail, etc. Again, usually at work.
Mine doesn't even have the capability to have apps, let alone have
those... ;)

... Lead me not into temptation, I can find my own way.
