    Nazi Party from power.

    Sophie Scholl, Anti-Nazi political activist who was active within the White Rose non-
    violent resistance group in Nazi Germany.

    Clara Schumann, child prodigy musician and composer considered one of the most distinguished pianists of the Romantic era.

    Justus von Liebig, one of the pioneers of organic chemistry.

    Friedrich von Schiller, German playwright, poet, essayist, historian, and philosopher.
