Roll your eyes as much as you want, but instead of the usual response
from the Peanut Gallery, you could inform the list keeper of any
errors.
Just to clarify for future reference..
So any and all requests for change sent to the 'editor', who is technically the one that can edit any of the pages before they finalize
a release of the newsletter, get ignored?
Yes. He's *very* busy, you know. Maintaining that newsletter is a very demanding fulltime job and he MUST delegate such tasks to subordinates.
If so, then one can ask are you an actual editor, or just a publisher?
He's neither. He launches a script (or likely a "batch file") which
takes the various pieces of boilerplate text (that never change) and
stitches them together into one chunk that is then auto-posted. This
takes approximately 8.4 seconds, and has to be done EVERY WEEK. I don't
know how he can manage such a workload.
